Quickstart
From zero to your first AI synthesis in under two minutes. No setup, no API keys, no install.
1. Search
Open kvire.com, type a topic, an author, an ISBN, or a DOI into the search box, and hit enter. Kvire searches across OpenAlex (papers) and Open Library (books) in parallel.
Use the All / Books / Papers tabs above the input to filter the kind of result you want. The autocomplete dropdown surfaces matching topics as you type.
2. Open a result
Click any result to open its detail page. Kvire streams in three AI-generated sections in parallel:
- Overview — what the work is about, in 3 sentences.
- Analysis — methodology and contribution.
- Authors' position — what the authors actually argue.
While that streams, the page also pulls in the work's citation graph (for papers), author bio, and three alternate lenses you can click into for a different framing.
3. Save it
Hit Save to library to keep the work — anonymous users get a private localStorage library, signed-in users get a cloud-synced one. Press s on any detail page for the same effect.
4. Sign in (optional)
Sign in with your email — we send a 6-digit code, you type it in, you're in. No password, no oauth tangle. Sign-in unlocks the cloud library, reading lists, comparison, share URLs, and the AI synthesis itself (which is gated behind sign-in to control cost).
See Accounts & sign-in for details.
5. Explore further
That's the loop. From there:
- Build a curated reading list on any topic.
- Compare two or three saved works side by side.
- Share a public synthesis URL with a colleague.
