Privacy

Kvire's privacy posture in plain language: we store the minimum we need, we don't sell anything, and we don't track you across the web.

What we store

  • Your email — used to sign you in. That's it.
  • Your library — works you save, with notes / tags / highlights you attach.
  • Your reading lists — saved curricula.
  • Your search history — recent queries (signed-in only). Used to surface “recent searches” on the home page. You can clear it from your library page.
  • Sign-in cookie — HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax, expires after 30 days.

What we don't store

  • No passwords (we don't use any).
  • No payment information (Kvire is free).
  • No social login data (we don't use OAuth).
  • No third-party tracking pixels, no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel.

Anonymous use

Without signing in, you can search the catalog freely. The library in that mode lives in your browser's localStorage — Kvire's servers never see it.

What we send to Claude

When you trigger an AI action (synthesis, lens, ask, compare), we send the work's catalog metadata + your prompt to Anthropic. For Ask, we also send the recent conversation turns. We do not send your email or any other identifying info to Claude.

Per Anthropic's API terms, your prompts are not used for model training.

Sharing

When you mint a share URL, the AI synthesis (just that, not your notes or highlights) becomes publicly readable to anyone with the unguessable slug.

Deleting your data

Want everything gone? Email us. We'll wipe your user row and every cascading record (library, lists, history, share-creator attribution).

Changes to this policy

If we materially change what we collect or store, we'll note it on this page and (for signed-in users) email you a summary.
