Export

Get your data out of Kvire in formats your other tools understand. Citations, libraries, and reading lists all support export.

Single citation

From any detail page, click Cite to copy a single citation in BibTeX, RIS, or APA format. Use the modal's Copy or Download buttons.

Reading list

On your library page, each saved reading list card has three small export buttons:

• .md — Markdown, grouped by stage with rationales as blockquotes. Most readable.
• .bib — BibTeX entries (one per item). Plugs straight into LaTeX or Zotero.
• .ris — RIS records. Plugs into EndNote, Mendeley, Papers, etc.

Whole library

From the library page, click Export JSON to download every saved work, with notes, tags, highlights, and timestamps. Use this for backup or to migrate between devices.

Programmatic export

We don't expose a public API yet. When we do, every export format above will be available as a JSON endpoint.
